Past Performances
Here are some past concerts I have performed in, arranged, or both!
Harlem Sound Project Inaugural Concert
In May 2012 I hosted my very first concert as part of my Harlem Sound Project concert series! My good friend Noah Jackson and his sextet performed at The Children's Storefront, an independent, tuition-free K-8 school in East Harlem. Proceeds from the performance went towards new musical instruments for the school. Click through for more pictures! Also check out a clip from the concert below.

The Taneycomo Festival Orchestra
In June 2012 I participated in the inaugural season of the Taneycomo Festival Orchestra. Founded by clarinetist Larkin Sanders, the TFO is a new nonprofit organization that provides a free two-week concert series of classical music in Branson, Missouri. They seek to break the 19th century tradition that attending a symphony concert is a formal and elitist event by providing an accessible and casual concert series while continuing to preserve these great works of art. More information can be found at the TFO website.
The NYC Summer Mahler Project
In July 2012 I participated in the annual Mahler Project at St. Bartholomew's Church. In a concert entitled "A Work of Great Humanity," the Sheep Island Ensemble and the Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation presented Mahler's larger-than-life Fifth Symphony. All proceeds benefited the Youth Orchestra of the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans.

2011 Castleton Festival Orchestra
In the summer of 2011 I spent two months in the beautiful farmlands of Castleton, VA, participating in the Castleton Festival Orchestra with Maestro Lorin Maazel. Notable performances included Principal Horn on La Bohème, Porgy and Bess, and An American in Paris.

A Chamber Music Concert for Haiti
In 2010 I arranged and performed in a concert of chamber music to support the victims of Haiti. We raised $1200, which we donated to Habitat for Humanity's Haiti Relief Program.
